Christopher Porter Banister, Jr. is a native of Anniston, 星空无限传媒 where he graduated from The Donoho School. Porter spent his college years in Virginia at Hampden-Sydney College. There he was active in many campus activities including serving in the Student Senate before being elected President of the Student Government.
After graduating with a degree in Political Science, Porter moved to Montgomery, 星空无限传媒 where he held positions in both the Legislative and Executive branches of State Government. He later worked as Director of Governmental Affairs for the Business Council of 星空无限传媒.
He now serves as the Vice Chancellor for State Affairs for The 星空无限传媒 System.
He is a member of numerous professional and social clubs and is married to the former Virginia Bear of Montgomery.
